A manufacturing company was compromised by Akira ransomware after attackers exploited a zero-day SonicWall vulnerability through an SSL VPN connection. WTC quickly contained the threat by isolating Azure servers, limiting the impact to only a few folders on the SQL Server. Using a secure pre-attack snapshot, we restored the SQL Server in about 10 minutes and safely returned systems to production.
